You may have seen on the news over the past 24 hours that a major design floor has been found in a large number of computer processors.
The initial release indicated that this affected only Intel processors but it has now be confirmed it also effects processors made by a number of other vendors.
Security patches are being worked on as we speak and we expect to see these rolling out from the likes of Microsoft within the next 7 days.
All New World IT customers with our Patch Management service will automatically have the patches and updates applied as soon as they become available.
These patches will almost certainly require devices to be restarted in order for them to take effect so there may be a small amount of disruption as these are deployed but we will do our best to keep it to a minimum.
